| "After looking through some work lists I decided to trust my own intuition as an
artist and chose around 30 pieces to create this Laboratory in Motion or a little
Sculpture Garden to walk through. (Because of the wooden walls it made no sense to hang
drawings in frames, the special spell of the Brancusi Room would have been broken.)
I trusted Paul’s work too , that all the objects from different years correspond and show
the connections between them. I did read a book about Paul Neagu’s Nine Catalytic Stations
and saw all the different installations, but I tried to start from zero. After the death
of an artist, the work starts to be different.
If you take your time now to walk slowly around the sculptures, looking at them as you
would do it in a garden, having beside you other works to observe, you will start to feel
that behind all the differences, this is a personal universe, the world of Paul Neagu."
